This allows us to stay focused on each of our listings, as opposed to letting properties get lost in the mix and ultimately mismanaged.
Additionally, we’ve invested in a network made up of the top short-term rental operators in the country. We leverage this group for day-to-day consulting for our business. It gives us an edge on the competition as we’re always the first to know when a new software, regulation or specific strategy is suddenly relevant to the industry.
Yes, through our property management system, Hospitable, property owners have their own portal where they can view current and future guest bookings, along with all of the relative financial data, and reserve personal bookings.
Our focus is mainly on short-term rentals (30 day stays or less). However, as central Maine can be a seasonal market, we offer owners the option of renting their properties on a mid-term basis (30-120 day stays) in the offseason to guarantee occupancy. This is typically the best alternative option to renting the property short-term, in terms of maximizing revenue.
We allow dogs in our current short term rentals and want to market to families who need that flexibility.
